I teach in NJ and my district does not have any set eligibility criteria for APE. I am the 1 APE teacher for 12 school and am responsible for assessment, evaluation, and recommendations. I have been requesting the district to purchase an APE assessment tool, but it is the least of their priorities. THey do not want to seem to deal with this area as long as they can say that they have an APE teacher. This criteria above will be a huge resource for my teaching and evaluations.
